Hope everyone had a great Good Friday yesterday and we wish all the best to our players (Samantha Lee and Edward Ma) who have left to compete at the under 17 June Bevan Australasian carnival in New Zealand.
We also would like to welcome Joy Lai back from competing at the World Junior Championship in Alor Setar, Malaysia.
The Australian team came 23rd position and Joy did very well in the singles individual event, lost in the second round against her Korean opponent.
Well done Joy on your achievement.
All the best as well to our senior players and their preparation trying to get in and be part of the Australian team for 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, starting with NZ international (starting last week), then next week will be Maribyrnong International, then Australian International in Sydney.
The last few international tournaments most likely will determine players selection to the AUS team.
