After two intense under 13 selection tournaments, BAV academy's Gary Chau has been selected for the Under 13 state team alongside with Nils Vercruysse and Yee-Yuan Lim (BAV club members).

Gary will attend two state team trainings during the summer holidays and will compete at the Interstate Series teams event and National Championships in January 2018.

The teams event is on Friday January 12th and the individual events are on Saturday January 13th 2018, held at Altona Badminton Centre, Mason St, Altona North.

Occurring at the same time on January 12th is the Under 13 Regional Teams Challenge where club players can form teams and compete. BAV club will be sending two teams, with three to four boys and three girls in each team. Team members are to be revealed some time this month.
