REGIONAL TEAM EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIPS (27/08/06) MDBA/BAV players play under East Metro Region at the Regional team events champs successfully won the under 13, 15, 17 and 19. The under 11 team came out second after lost against Gippsland team.

VICTORIAN JUNIOR TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS (23/07/2006) Badminton Academy of Victoria/Mountain District Badminton Association players clean sweep the team events in all age categories (under 11, 13, 15, 17 & 19).
This year Victorian team events champs are using rally points system up to 31 points for under 13, 15, 17 and 19 and 21 points for the under 11.
All age categories have 6 teams competing in the group. The winner of each group won the team events title.
